Gulf Christian College is seeking an experienced and visionary Primary Curriculum Coordinator to lead the planning, documentation, and delivery of our Primary School curriculum in alignment with the Australian Curriculum and Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) requirements.
This pivotal leadership role is responsible for overseeing the entire Primary teaching team—including Teachers and Teacher Assistants—and ensuring high‑quality teaching and learning across all Primary year levels. Classroom teachers will be directly accountable to the Coordinator and will engage in structured weekly meetings to support professional growth, collaboration, and curriculum consistency.
About the Role
The Primary Curriculum Coordinator position has a unique and flexible working structure:
- One day per week (or equivalent) worked during school terms (worked from your home).
- Three full‑time weeks per term on site at our Normanton campus, providing hands‑on leadership, mentoring, and curriculum oversight.
- All travel and accommodation arrangements will be organised and funded by the College on a reasonable basis.
